New Faces, Familiar Places.

The classic Disney Princesses have been in my childhood and still lives on in through children today. We haven't been given a real Disney Princess in quite some time. I mean come on, Giselle from Enchanted wasn't their brightest idea, right? Well, this Christmas, Disney is coming out with a remake of classic story which also debuts Disney's first African-American Princess...

The cast includes Anika Noni Rose, Terrence Howard, and Oprah Winfrey.

I don't know about you, but this looks pretty amazing to me. I must say that it is about time they came up with an African-American Princess.

I wish I could say I was going to see HP6 tonight. Sad faces.

And the Saga Continues.

A dance group called BOUNCE came up with the most amazing way to remember Michael Jackson and make his dance & music live on forever.

This routine was taught and learned in 30 minutes and the group has gathered in 3 public places so far. I believe they plan on visiting more and I really hope they do.

I want you back.

Cute Boys with Boards.

I think I fell in love with the DVS Skate team today. I've been watching their videos for the past hour and I don't want to stop. This boy takes the majority of the cake, but they all blow my mind with their skating...

Andrew Brophy:

This cutie originates from Australia and currently skates for DVS and the one and only Huf.

Check him out, but just to let you know, the music is kind of odd...

You honestly do not have to like skateboarding to appreciate the video below. It's kind of beautiful and amazing, and I love it...
Featuring Andrew Brophy, Daewon Song, Keith Hufnagel, Zered Bassett and Torey Pudwill.

One of Andrew's parts in the video...

I love boys with boards.

Backstreet Boys.

With the loss of one of my favorite childhood heroes and performers, I thought it would be fit to commemorate the artists that I appreciated when I was a wee lad, at least while they're all still gracing this planet. It is probably going to take place in a series of blogs, and involve many boy bands, but it's okay, flashbacks are always fun.

The Backstreet Boys were my favorite boy bands, until NSYNC came along and stole my heart. BB then became #2 on my list and will always be second place to NSYNC. Nick Carter was as dreamy as Ken and his plastic body. Recently, I found out that Nick almost overdosed on some drugs and might have left this life as we know it, but is now recovering and doing a lot better. The Backstreet Boys were an instant sensation. Touring the world, singing beautiful songs, dancing nifty choreography, they had it all. I honestly don't know what happened to them or why their fame didn't last, but I guess people move on and find something better. It's human nature.

The Backstreet Boys Official Book...

This book is originally priced at $14.95. I found it at the 99 Cents Store, and my mom bought it for me for $1.08. Thanks mommy! I have not had the pleasure of reading it yet, but I did look at the many pictures it contains. There are pictures of them in Egypt, on tour, and even at their homes. They are def no Michael Jackson, but they had a good run while it lasted and I thoroughly enjoyed their music and entertainment.

Do I think they could make a comeback and be as popular as they were back in 1996? No, but they were big in the music industry then, now they're just big. Oh, oops. I still love them, except Kevin and especially Nick. There is no use in hating, just respect the fact that they did do something right if they got that famous.

I know what you're thinking, this is exactly what is going to happen to the JoBros. Well, yeah, probably. It doesn't hurt me to say it because it's probably true. They aren't the next Beatles, it's just their time to shine, so deal with it for now. People are always wanting something better, so sue me if I like mainstream music and cute boys.

Since I wrote so much, I was planning on leaving you with my favorite BB music video, but I can't embed the video so here's the link to Backstreet Boys "Everybody (Backstreet's Back): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hb-q1XPNr7M

I guess I've always had a thing for boys named Nick.

I Love You MJ.

Dear Michael Jackson,

My eyes have not been dry since the moment I got home and began watching the memorial. You have touched the lives of so many people throughout the entire world, I do not know how people could still have such hate for such a compassionate and loving person. You have changed the world for the better, despite what anyone may say. You broke racial boundaries and contributed to as many people's lives as you could, especially through the countless charities that you have donated to or raised money for. You were a wonderful father to your children and that, no one can deny you of. You have given wonderful music, life, love, dancing, fashion, and hope to a better tomorrow. Thank you for all that you have done.

Rev. Al Sharpton could not have stated it any better...

THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. ♥

I love you Michael. Rest in paradise.

Tag You're It!

YouTube has this really fun game of tag that has been going on for a while now. If you get tagged, you make a video talking about 5 facts about yourself, you then conclude the video by tagging 5 other people. I was tagged today!

This is really a very long game of tag. Among the many people that have participated in this game, some recognizeable names may be Kat Dennings, KevJumba, Gabe Bondoc, WHATTHEBUCK, and Passion.

Just thought I'd share. It was actually kind of fun to make, and really fun to see how many people have made one of these videos on YouTube.

Peter Pan & Wendy turned out fine, so won't you fly with me?

Cute Boys with Boards.

Sean Malto is probably the cutest little boy you will ever see...

He's only 7 days older than Nick Jonas, which would make him 16, turning 17 in September. He currently skates for Girl and I can not stop watching videos of this cute ball of sunshine. Lol.

Check him out for yourself, but I am warning you now, you will fall in love...

I need to find some boys my own age. Haha.
