Bay Area.

As a teenager, I spent almost ever summer in Union City. After a very unfortunate event it got harder and harder for us to visit our close friends that we came to know and love and that we consider family. My brother always tried to make the effort to visit as often as he could, but even that got hard. I was giving the privilege to head up there this weekend and I didn't realize how much I missed it. I took those summers for granted and I really did have some amazing memories in that small town up north.

These boys treated me like the little sister they always wanted, haha...
and that's why I love them so much.

Jared's kids are pretty much the happiest kids I've ever met, and it doesn't hurt that they happen to be freakin adorable...

The boys always start and end our time together with their lame hand shake...

but, it is tradition, so I guess I can't complain.

My weekend in the Bay went by too fast and I hope I get to see my family again in the very near future. It's not exactly like old times, but we tried our best with what we had. I love you guys and thanks for a great weekend.

I miss the weather up there.

The Great Outdoors.

I am so not an outdoors kind of person, but sometimes you just need to get away to see the beauty in nature and life around us.

My family and I were lucky enough to go to Yosemite National Park to see my brother's best friend, James and his, now wife, Jenny, get married...

The happy couple right after they were pronounced Mr.&Mrs. James Lind.

They aren't cake people, so they had wedding pie!

By far the most original idea I've ever seen.

Although we came for the wedding, we couldn't make a trip to Yosemite without checking out the many things the park had to offer, like wild animals...

Okay, well maybe they aren't wild, but still. Every time I saw one of these, I was secretly wishing a vampire was gonna come and eat one. That's terrible.

After walking a little over a mile, we got to the bottom of Yosemite Falls and my brothers got a little excited...

I took this picture from over a bridge and across a river, a relative distance away from the waterfall. They wanted a closer look and ended up coming back with soaking clothes.

The view...
I was seriously forced away from my comfort zone this weekend. I had no computer, and my cell phone had no reception, but I got a whole lot out of it. If you ever get the chance, I highly suggest visiting the park one day. Nature is beautiful.

It's good to be home.

Kuya what's up with your eye? Haha.

Today:
Work at 7 am. Took a nap then went shopping.
Then birthday dinner at Outback.
I made the cake. It's green velvet, not red.

Lukey & Dylan.

This is Luke he is 4 in August and Dylan who will be 6 in September. Why does Luke look like that you ask?

This video explains it all. It took 4 hours to upload so you better watch it! Haha.

Oh Lukey.

This is Zack.

At 10 months old, he is the most sensory aware child ever, and pretty much the cutest thing in the world.

Like a banana, I'm gonna split.

Hey Mama.

Happy Mother's Day to those of you that are mothers. How sad is that, EVERYDAY is our day, our mom's have given us everything ever since we existed and what do they get, ONE day. Well, 3 if you count Christmas and their birthday. Buy her something nice and tell her you love her. Treat her like the queen she is and never take anything for granted.

I love my mommy.

Happy Mother's Day! You mos def deserve it.
